My Tennis Journey:
Tennis was introduced to me in 1996 at the age of 9. I began playing tournaments shortly after—sometime around 1997 or 1998.
Competitive Background:
Since then, I’ve been competing continuously. I played full-time junior tournaments through high school, graduating in May 2005. From 2005 to 2007, I competed in college tennis while also participating in adult tournaments and prize money events during the summers. Between 2011 and 2015, I played on the USTA Pro Circuit and in Futures and National-level events. During that time, I was ranked inside the USA Top 500 selection list, peaking in 2013 inside the Top 150.
Coaching Path:
I began coaching in 2004, originally helping out with summer camps run by my own coaches. What started as a summer job quickly turned into a passion. As a teenager, I was fortunate to learn under experienced mentors who shaped my understanding of the game from a coaching perspective. Over the years, I progressed from assisting in camps to giving private lessons, working with high-level juniors, and eventually becoming deeply involved in academy and junior player development.
