Sharpen Your Footwork with These Tennis Ladder Drills

Footwork + Stability is the foundation of efficient movement, recovery, and balance on court. The agility ladder is one of the simplest yet most effective tools to build it.
Here are a set of Tennis Ladder exercises to help you move quicker, lighter, and more explosively between shots:
2 feet in (front facing)
2 feet in (side facing)
2 feet in (side – high knees)
Snake or Icky shuffle
2 feet in (lateral R + L)
Gravity steps (lateral R + L)
Hops (in + wide)
Single leg Hop (R + L)
Single leg Hop (lateral R + L)
✅ Do 2–3 sets per exercise
✅ Train it 3x/week
✅ Each session should take about 5–8 minutes max with some rest built in between.
